Terms & Conditions
The basis on which information is published on this website, and the limits that apply to photography, videography, editing, printing, framing and delivery services.

About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the truefocus-photography.co.uk website. They set out the basis on which information is published here and the limits that apply to it.
These website terms are not the contract for any photography, videography, editing, printing, framing or delivery work. Where a project proceeds, separate project terms are agreed covering scope, timing, usage, costs and delivery for that specific piece of work. Those project terms take precedence over anything published on this website.
Legal context
TrueFocus Photography Ltd is registered in Scotland under company number SC870086, with its registered office and business address at 1/2 261 Paisley Road West, Glasgow, Scotland, G51 1NB.
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction in relation to them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
Website information is general only
Everything published on this website is general information about the kinds of work TrueFocus Photography Ltd carries out. It is not advice, it is not a quotation, and it is not an offer capable of acceptance.
Descriptions of services indicate what may be possible. They do not confirm that a particular service, date, location, format, print size, frame, finish or delivery arrangement is available for your project.
Service availability
Photography and visual media service availability is not guaranteed. Availability depends on schedule, capacity, location, the nature of the work and other commitments at the time of enquiry.
Services are subject to agreed scope, availability, and project requirements.
Submitting an enquiry through this website does not create a booking, reserve a date or form an agreement.
Everything is confirmed per enquiry
Photography, videography, editing, printing, framing, digital delivery, project schedules, locations, availability, creative direction, image usage, permissions, print specifications, delivery timescales, and final outputs are confirmed individually for each enquiry.
No arrangement is in place until it has been confirmed in writing as part of agreed project terms.
Recommendations and suitability
Recommendations depend on service type, location, schedule, creative brief, lighting, access, permissions, usage requirements, editing scope, print specifications, framing requirements, delivery timescales, and agreed terms.
Any suggestion made about approach, format, print size, finish, frame or delivery is a recommendation based on the information available at the time. Final decisions rest with the client.
No guaranteed outcomes
Visual media work depends on conditions that cannot be fully controlled, including light, weather, venue access, the behaviour of people and animals present, equipment performance, third-party production and the condition of source material. Where a specific outcome is essential to you, raise it at enquiry stage so it can be assessed honestly before any commitment is made.
Third parties and suppliers
Third-party venues, event organisers, printers, framers, couriers, platform providers, equipment suppliers, music licensors, models, makeup artists, stylists, property owners, schools, agencies, brands, and other contributors may have separate requirements, permissions, costs, limitations, timings, and terms.
Where a project depends on a third party — a printer, a framer, a courier, a venue, an event organiser, a music licensor, an equipment supplier or any other contributor — their timings, availability, costs and terms apply in addition to ours and are outside our direct control.
Client responsibility
Client responsibility includes providing accurate project information, booking details, locations, schedules, usage requirements, brand guidance, permissions, consent information, guest/client requirements, deadlines, approvals, and timely feedback.
Where information supplied is incomplete or inaccurate — a wrong address, an incorrect running order, an unstated usage requirement, a permission that was not in place — the resulting effect on scope, timing or cost is not our responsibility.
Copyright, permissions and specialist review
Copyright in photographs and video is not transferred automatically. Usage is licensed for the purposes agreed in the project terms, and full commercial usage rights are not granted by default.
Copyright, model release, venue permissions, child safeguarding, drone usage, music licensing, advertising clearance, print rights, commercial usage, data protection, privacy, and sector-specific requirements should be reviewed with appropriate specialists where required.
Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice on copyright, licensing, consent, safeguarding, advertising clearance or data protection. Where a project carries meaningful risk in any of these areas, appropriate professional advice should be obtained.
Editing and post-production limits
Editing and post-production outcomes depend on source file quality, resolution, exposure, focus, motion blur, compression, requested edits, available time, software limitations, usage requirements, and agreed scope. Editing cannot guarantee restoration of every file or perfect results.
Unlimited editing is not offered. The number of files, the depth of work on each and the number of review rounds are agreed as part of project scope.
Printing and framing limits
Printing and framing depend on file resolution, image quality, print size, colour profile, chosen finish, frame availability, supplier terms, production timing, delivery requirements, and agreed order terms. Exact colour matching and material availability are not guaranteed.
Differences between a screen image and a printed result are inherent to the media and are not a defect.
No implied guarantee
No perfect image guarantee, video outcome guarantee, editing result guarantee, print colour guarantee, framing availability guarantee, event coverage guarantee, weather suitability guarantee, delivery date guarantee, publication outcome guarantee, marketing outcome guarantee, client satisfaction guarantee, or commercial result guarantee is implied unless confirmed with evidence and agreed terms.
Limitation of website information
This website is provided on an "as is" basis. While reasonable care is taken to keep it accurate and current, no warranty is given that the information is complete, accurate or up to date at any given moment, or that the website will be available without interruption.
To the extent permitted by law, TrueFocus Photography Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information published on this website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
